Update the WPO365 plugin to the latest version
You can update the plugin to the latest version as follows:
- Navigate to WP Admin > Installed plugins.
- Scroll down to the WPO365 Login.
- Find the notice that says There is a new version of WPO365 Login available. View version x.x details. Update now.
- Click Update now.
If you see a message that informs you that Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. then you haven’t activated your license yet.
Activate your license
To activate your license you must add the license key.
- Copy the license key that was sent to you in the initial email WordPress + Office 365 purchase receipt after you purchased it.
- Navigate to WP Admin > WPO365 > License (since v12.x a sub menu below the WPO365 admin menu) and paste it.
- Click Activate license and wait for the feedback.
Once you’ve activated the license the notice will change (possibly after a few hours since the update-information is cached) to There is a new version of WPO365 Login available. View version x.x details. Update now.
Recover your license key / Manually activate your license
If you cannot find your license key you can recover it and activate in the following (manual) way.
- Navigate to https://www.wpo365.com/your-account/ and sign in with the account that you created when you purchased the license.
- From your purchase history, click View licenses.
- From the list of licenses, click Manage sites.
- Copy the license key and / or activate your website.
Manually update the plugin
- Navigate to https://www.wpo365.com/your-account/ and sign in with the credentials you supplied when you created the account.
- Download the latest version of the plugin.
- Navigate to WP Admin > Installed plugins and de-activate and then delete the currently installed version. Your configuration won't be deleted.
- At the top of the page click Add new.
- After the page reloads click Upload plugin.
- Once the plugin has been uploaded click Activate.
