Skip WordPress API REST requests

Usage Checking this option configures the plugin to basically skip any attempt to try and authentication requests made to the WordPress REST API i.e. to https://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-json/ if and only if a basic authentication header is found. 

You may want to check this option when you selected the Intranet authentication mode but still need to grant access to a mobile app that needs to connect to your WordPress REST API, for example as is the case with Event Espresso‘s mobile event registration and ticketing solution.

Important The plugin, however, won’t try to perform a basic authentication.
